When it came to helping the Boston police, Elsa didn’t let it go.
A man dressed up as Elsa from Disney’s “Frozen” helped push a Boston police van stuck in a pile of snow during the winter storm Tuesday night.
Video of the incident was captured by Facebook user Christopher Haynes. People can be heard cheering Elsa on as he pushes the van out of the snow.
When the vehicle was freed, Elsa curtseyed for everyone in the bar.
“Yup, that just happened,” Haynes wrote in the caption of the video. “Drag ‘Elsa’ just single-handedly pushed out a stuck police wagon.”
Haynes said the incident took place at The Gallows Bar in Boston during Tuesday’s Nor’easter.
The man, who told Fox 61 he went by Elsa and wouldn’t reveal his true identity, said he ran outside to help the police vehicle after he saw it was stuck in the snow. He never thought him being dressed up would “be a thing.”
“I bought this costume last year during a snow storm because I thought it would be hilarious to walk around Boston in an ‘Elsa’ costume during a snow storm,” the man said. “It turns out I was correct, it is really funny to walk around Boston in an ‘Elsa’ costume during a snow storm.”
The man said if anyone knew Ellen Degeneres he wanted them to let her know he wanted to be on her show. However, he told Fox 61 he would only go on if U.S. Olympian Adam Rippon was also there.
Buzzfeed News identified the man as 37-year-old attorney Jason Triplett.
